Pricing and Credits

How does pricing work?

EchoLive uses a credit-based pricing model. You purchase credits, and credits are consumed when you generate audio. There are no monthly subscriptions - you buy credits when you need them, and they last for 1 year.

How credits work

  • 1 credit = 1 character of text converted to speech (standard voices)
  • HD voices cost 1.5 credits per character (50% premium)
  • Minimum charge: 100 credits per generation request
  • Credits expire 365 days after purchase

Free tier

Every new account receives 2,500 free credits per month - enough to convert a few short articles. Free credits replenish monthly.

Credit packages

  • Starter: $5 for 60,000 credits
  • Basic: $10 for 150,000 credits (includes 30,000 bonus)
  • Standard: $20 for 350,000 credits (includes 70,000 bonus)
  • Pro: $50 for 1,000,000 credits (includes 200,000 bonus)
  • Enterprise: $100 for 2,200,000 credits (includes 440,000 bonus)

Larger packages include bonus credits (20-25% extra), making them better value.

How many credits do I need?

  • A typical news article (3,000 characters) costs about 3,000 credits with a standard voice
  • A blog post (5,000 characters) costs about 5,000 credits standard or 7,500 credits with an HD voice
  • A book chapter (15,000 characters) costs about 15,000 credits standard
  • The free tier's 2,500 monthly credits can convert roughly 1 short article
