What is Quick Read?

Quick Read is EchoLive's simple text-to-speech playground. It's the fastest way to convert any text into professional audio. Just paste your text, pick a voice, and click Generate.

How to use Quick Read

1. Go to the Quick Read page
2. Paste text or upload a document
3. Select a voice from the voice picker
4. Optionally adjust speed and pitch
5. Click Generate
6. Listen to the preview and download the MP3

Supported input methods

• Paste text directly into the editor
• Upload documents: PDF, DOCX, Markdown (.md), plain text (.txt), HTML
• Import from URL: Paste an article URL to extract and convert its content

Text limits by tier

• Free: 10,000 characters
• Starter: 15,000 characters
• Creator: 25,000 characters
• Professional: 50,000 characters
• Producer: 100,000 characters
• Enterprise: 200,000 characters

Voice controls

• Voice selection: Choose from 400+ voices across 100+ languages
• Speech rate: Adjust from 0.5x (slow) to 2.0x (fast)
• Pitch: Adjust from -2 to +2 semitones
• Voice style: Narration, conversational, newscast, cheerful, calm, and more (varies by voice)

Output format

Quick Read generates MP3 audio at 160 kbps. You can play it directly in the browser or download it.

Do I need an account for Quick Read?

You can use Quick Read with a free account. Free users receive 2,500 credits per month. Each character of text costs 1 credit (HD voices cost 1.5 credits per character).
