Studio

What is Studio?

Studio is EchoLive's professional multi-segment audio production workspace. It lets you create complex audio projects with multiple segments, each with its own voice, style, and settings. Think of it as a text-to-speech DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).

Who can access Studio?

Studio is available to users on the Producer tier and above (approximately $700+ in lifetime purchases).

Multi-segment editing

  • Split your content into multiple segments (paragraphs, sections, chapters)
  • Each segment can have a different voice, style, speed, and pitch
  • Reorder segments with drag-and-drop
  • Add, remove, or edit segments at any time

Voice control per segment

  • Assign different voices to different segments (e.g., narrator voice for introductions, conversational voice for dialogue)
  • Adjust speech rate, pitch, and volume per segment
  • Apply voice styles per segment (narration, conversational, newscast, etc.)
  • Use emphasis controls for specific words

SSML editor

  • Advanced markup editing for fine-grained speech control (Professional tier+)
  • Control pauses, pronunciation, emphasis, and prosody
  • Direct SSML preview and validation

Smart generation

  • Only regenerates segments that have been modified ("dirty" segments)
  • Saves credits by not re-synthesizing unchanged segments

Visual timeline

  • Waveform display for each segment
  • Visual playback position tracking
  • Seek to any point in the audio

Export options

  • MP3: Standard compressed audio (160 kbps) - all users
  • WAV: Uncompressed high-quality audio (PCM 16-bit) - Creator tier+
  • AAF: Avid Advanced Authoring Format for professional video editing workflows - Professional tier+
  • Timeline JSON: Complete project metadata with timing for custom integrations - Professional tier+
  • Segments ZIP: Individual MP3 files for each segment - Producer tier+

Project limits

  • Max segments per project: 25 (Producer) or 100 (Enterprise)
  • Max active projects: 150 (Producer) or 500 (Enterprise)
  • Concurrent generation jobs: 5 (Producer) or 10 (Enterprise)
